Trapper T-Rex Rat Trap
pest_trex.jpg
Named after the fierce dinosaur, Trapper T-REX is Bell's most recent addition to its line of reliable traps. Professionals can now use a safer alternative to competitor's dangerous rat snap traps. PCOs can integrate Trapper T-Rex as a new tool for special situations, too, like chemical free accounts.

Trapper T-REX offers superior rat capture. Patented, interlocking teeth make rat escapes virtually impossible. The trap is a perfect combination of trigger sensitivity and trap velocity -- speed and responsiveness ensure capture. Extensive field and laboratory testing fine-tuned Trapper T-REX to optimum specifications.

Safer and easier to use than competitor's snap traps, Trapper T-REX can be readily set by foot safely on the ground. Press the trap open like a pedal, keeping fingers free and safe.

Bell included a removable bait cup that inserts from the bottom of Trapper T-REX. The cup can be withdrawn and re-inserted without the trap being set, which greatly enhances safety and ease of use. These traps have small cups to hold bait so rodents will almost always trigger the trap.

You can use Trapper T-REX along a rat pathway. Or you can insert it into a tamper-resistant bait station. Trapper T-REX easily fits inside the Protecta and Protecta Sidewinder bait stations.

Tips for Mouse Traps and Rat Traps

Snap TrapRodents enter a home through holes the size of a dime and run along walls, not over open spaces.

1. Place mouse traps perpendicular to the wall.

2. Place mouse traps out unset for a few days so rodents can become familiar with it.

3. Place mouse traps where rodent activity is seen (sign of chewing, droppings, runway, burrow).

4. Leave mouse traps undisturbed for at least two days before moving to a new location.

5. Check mouse traps daily and replace as needed.

6. Wear gloves when disposing of rodent.

Baits

This is our no. 1 trap for Norway and Roof Rats. You may need to tie it to something to keep larger rodents from carrying it off!

Rats are afraid of anything new, so it may take awhile before they come near it. Set out several for best results. If possible leave them there if not needed elsewhere. If another gets in he will head for that trap due to the scent. Rodent follow scent trails.
